Uncomfy Lore-ish Error Message Screenshots CosmiSynth | 11/11/2015 | 5 | "The game can only load in ancient Shee DNA, from the time when they left Albia. Any other DNA won't work."
Um?? Would you like to explain this cryptic and suspicious bit of error message, game? Please? O-O |

@Dragoler
This, Shee Living Quarters, thing could be an great metaroom. I mean, a place where we could find some of the Shee technology, and also view (or guess) how they have lived. As it was not included in the game, but was, clearly, present in the official artwork, we have to made it for the lore continuity itself.
And, also, automatic doors, because... just because

@Dragoler
Sounds like a pretty good guess to me, and the loitering around upstairs thing sounds like a pretty Shee-like thing to do.
Man though, I still wish we had actual official art of a Banshee. That'd be so nice, but at least it leaves a lot of room for interpretation.

Judging by this image, I would guess that they are located in those towers on top of the ship in the middle. Maybe they are all too busy up there preparing to move furniture and stopping for tea to come down to the Ark and keep an eye on their creatures? Besides, time probably isn't a concern for them.
As for DS it would have to take place some time after the volcano erupted (around about 250 years?)... so docked worlds most certainly would have been abandoned by them... but there is always the possibility that someone is still up there *coughhack*....

@Dragoler
The best answers I can think of for that are that there's timeline shenanigans afoot, or that maybe the Shee travel back and forth to the ark at the time of C3 but get properly driven off later.
Also that chart doesn't include DS, so that might be a wildcard that would shake things up.
As for the living quarter thing, I bet they're somewhere, but maybe the game doesn't show us them to up the mystery factor and because it's not the focus of the game (though I'd honestly love to see them!).

Hmm, something seems off about that timeline... according to it, C3 takes place BEFORE the Shee were driven from the Ark... so where are they?
On a related note, where are the Shee living quarters on those ships anyway?

Oh yeah! also of note is that from the timeline from the creatures village site, they mention the shee being driven from the shee ark, which happens in the banshee grendel version of the timeline!
Since lone talks about reality hopping and does it often (note that he states clearly that the ark from which hardmans come from is an alternate ark) so we actually know at least one possible canon timeline! With space for people to wiggle and use the warp as an excuse if necessary~

@Dragoler
YOOOO. So I wasn't just going cuckoo that the ordering of the games didn't line up with the actual timeline! That's a real find, Dragoler. Thanks! Having something that's actually solid to reference on that is great.

@Dragoler ok that's really surreal, but also really cool! suddenly the fact that c3 norns are such garbage with their incomplete genomes makes more sense, even if it is by accident

Just found more information on the Shee and I guess this settles the matter of when the games take place. Creatures 3 Shee DNA really IS the most ancient of them all! (it also means that Lone lived for more than a thousand years and that wasn't even much time for him...)

Don't forget to use the new address for the creatures wiki: https://creatures.wiki/ - it's more up-to-date than the old address.
