 | This is some concept art for the Silk Grendels which I dreamed up! ^_^ The scales are very smooth and shiny, and decorated like embroidered silk. They feel cool and silky to the touch as well. |

Um, well, I originally dreamt them up for C3 and DS since they go with the Honey Bengals and Feather Ettins. But I don't see why thy couldn't be made for all the games.

Very nice. I can imagine a 3d version with a silk-like texture. What game would these be for?

I like the cloud colors on their body!

Goodness! ^///^; I didn' expect to get so much positive feedback for this picture -Thank you very much everyone.
@Micko: Not to worry! They can use the claws and teeth to fight but they're mostly very peaceful Grendels. They use them to spear and catch fish and fruit usually.
@Scoota94: Lol, that rhymed. XD
@Malkin: Well, I originally thought the serum would come down through their teeth similar to a snake venom, but through the claws sounds really good too. So I'll say yes! ^_^ It does now. Lol. They can inject it into injured creatures and heal them.
@Laura: Thank you! ^.^ I really enjoyed drawing the patterns. I looked at real silk pictures first to have a better idea.

Wow, it's so intricate! I especially like the needle-like claws - do they use those to administer their healing serum?

SpringRain, you've surpassed yourself! All the detailed patterns and pale colours look so pretty and delicate. It reminds me of a Chinese dragon.
