There are a lot of different variants of the Pixel Norn species, most of which originating from mutations that were then modified by the people living in the Pixel Terrariums before they were abandoned to tell them apart from normal Pixel Norns.

Some of these variants have completely lost the ability to digest plant matter. This female Pixel Norn is stalking her soon-to-be dinner, a Squirrel Mouse, on the wild, untamed jungle planet some of the Norns were thrown out into when Pixel Terra collided with the planet after the AI of its central computers was thrown out of whack when it was abandoned.

Since the pod was self-repairing, it was eventually managed to get itself back in working order and leave the planet, but the wild Norns remain.
