Creatures Raised in Space is for the PlayStation, isn't it? Unfortunately, it's not possible to expand that game with other Norn breeds - downloading is only possible for the PC-based games, Creatures, Creatures 2, Creatures 3 and Docking Station.

You could always download Docking Station (it's free) and download different Norn breeds for that game. There's some free official Docking Station Norn breeds on this page. :)

Docking Station is free - you just have to download it from that page I linked to. :)

Yes, Creatures 1, 2, and 3 are PC games and you have to buy those, either on CD-Rom, or you can buy and download them electronically from GOG.com.

I suggested Docking Station though, just because it's a nice freebie. :)

Creatures 3 and Docking Station can be combined if installed on the same computer. So can Creatures Adventures and Creatures Playground. When you buy games from GOG.com, the combinable games are bundled together.

Yeah, if you have both Creatures 3 and Docking Station (called 'Creatures Exodus' on GOG.com) you can create Docked worlds - both Creatures 3 and Docking Station worlds combined together.

As ylukyun mentioned, the lastest version of the games for Windows Vista can be bought here:

www.gog.com/en/search/sort/developer/Creature%20Labs

but if you wish to use the free Creatures Docking Station that you can also download addons for it free :)

Exodus is easier for a beginner, and it's where most of the community develop, these days.

Creatures Exodus is the latest and most advanced.

The Creatures Exodus you'll find on eBay is guaranteed compatible up to Windows XP, but the GoG version is fully compatible with Windows Vista and later :)

Regular Exodus (not GOG) works perfectly fine on Vista 64-bit, for the record. :)

Tarlia's correct. I actually use plain old Creatures 3 and Docking Station on Vista, and it works fine.

When you install Docking Station, if it asks you to do updates online then you can ignore that stage as it is already up to date.
