I need a *good* sprite artist who has done C2 breeds. Could someone please reply? I am trying to make a new breed. I don't really know how to do the sprites myself, so if you have the time to do it, PLEASE answer me.  |

First up if you want to do it, I'd suggest opening up an existing breed & checking out the number & types of poses for each body part. You'll be making an awful lot of sprites though! But the basic images are all just plain old bitmaps (.BMP) so easy to edit Umm, I'd have to get back on the rest until I find where I left the C2 folder PS. Did you know your post shows up twice? Back again! Beware! |

Yes, I did know, but I have a dial-up connection, and I kept on seeing the "page cannot be found" error page, so I tried it three times, and that was completely accidental that it was posted thrice. I am sorry about that. |

just thought I'd mention it, thats all. Accidental we can live with  Sounds like your dialup is worse than my old one! Hey, does anyone else out there know of a sprite/breed tutorial still being hosted? I know Lis used to but her site is long gone Back again! Beware! |

You'll need to get the SpriteBuilder to view sprite files. This might also help. Try looking at some of the files in your Images folder, you'll soon figure out the file naming system. Making a good-quality breed can take months, or even longer if you're tied up with work or school. As the spriting is about 99% of the work involved, you're asking a lot. Just keep that in mind  . |

Thanks for that, Shadow! I'd lost the files, too. Cool, with those back I can finish preparing the rest of my old agents/cobs for upload here If anyone knows where Mandy's hiding these days, I'd like to check with her about the helicopter agent, too. After all, she did the hard part of coding it Back again! Beware! |

Yeah, we have 54.7 kbps on our dial-up, if that means anything to you. It's probably so slow because we have a Windows 98. That stinketh. And yes, I do have the SpriteBuilder already. I'll check the CDN, but what do I look under? |

I can help you with sprites, I'm working on a breed of my own but I'll find time to do yours too, if you like. If you're looking for tutorials, try the Creatures Wiki. |

Draconorn, I would be SO glad if you could help me with it! But do you know how to do c2 sprite sets? Because that's what I need. How do you think I could show you what I'd like the breed to look like? Edit: Oh yeah, and another thing...a stupid question...will this cost me anything if you do end up doing the sprites for me? The sprite set thing is easy! And it won't cost anything, I do sprites for other people's projects quite a lot. If you want to show me what you want your breed to look like, do a drawing and send it to me. |

Thank-you, Draconorn!! OK, here's what up, Draconorn...I have created a sprite file like it is a creature's sprite file, you follow? The breed will be called the Parallax Norns for C2. Do you need my email address or something? Or can I just send it to you through Creatures Caves? In other words, I have the pictures on my computer for the breed, ready to send to you whenever you are ready for them. |
