I have random little norns hatching in my jungle? They are purplish and just keep hatching, one after another. Some have aged above baby and their heads no longer fit. Any ideas on what they could be? |

I don't think I can help much, but do you have a picture of them? |

The Screenshots Gallery would be a good place. Just click "post" at the top, or directly here.

Either you have a Grendel breed installed which you don't have the sprites for so the Grendels show up looking like Norns, or more likely you picked up a Norn .gen file which begins with a "G". The Grendel egg layer in the jungle doesn't check for whether it is laying an egg using a Grendel genome or not, it just checks for any genetics files which begin with a "G" and will randomly lay an egg from one of those, when it senses that there are fewer than two Grendels in a world it will lay another one.

Same thing happened to me-an easy solution is to put Norn or ettin before the name of the .gen file for an easy fix
Grendels aren't so bad, but I love Ettins! They're adorable! The complexity of creatures is quite amazing. |
