Removing C2 password-protected worlds? | |

I created a new world, and I am 99% sure I click the checkbox to make the world NOT password-protected, but after attempting to boot it up a second time, it requires me to give it a password, and I can't even delete it without said password. Except I'm pretty sure I didn't give it one. Is there a way to bypass this, or is it stuck forever? |

I've had luck in later games in just deleting the world's folder from the folder directory. Does C2 have an equivalent folder as C3DS's My Worlds? |

In my experience with C2 (You're playing the GOG version, right?) you basically have to play with passwords, but set the password to 1 character - something like "a" maybe. It just kinda works.
As for the locked world, you can probably go in the folder directory like Soloontherocks said; when I did that, the world wouldn't appear on the world switcher any more, but the name would still be "taken" if I tried to use it again.

There's probably a separate list stored in a file somewhere of all taken world names, and when you delete the world that's still there. Might be possible to track that down and just delete the name from it. |

I've never had to set a password in C2. If you just left it blank, have you tried just leaving it blank and clicking the 'OK' button when you try to load it? |
