sorry if this has already been asked but i couldnt find it by searching. ive recently done a complete fresh reinstall of creatures 3 and docking station and followed recommendations to install it in my documents folder. the installer for C1toDS seems to not be able to find where docking station is installed and spits out this error: Output folder: \Bootstrap\011 C1toDSWS Can't write: \Bootstrap\011 C1toDSWS\!c1 inject c1 world.cos ive tried testing with creatures 3 and it installed perfectly find and correctly located it at: C:/Users/Eztli/Documents/Creatures/Creatures Exodus/Creatures 3/Bootstrap im using the gog exodus version btw. i suspect this will need registry editing to get the installer to recognise the installation location correctly but im unsure of how to go about this. |

Sorry to hear you're having trouble installing C12DS. Did you install the Creatures Remastered Patch? It usually fixes issues with the installers not being able to find the correct files. |

ya i installed the creatures remastered patch as the first thing i did, i was following along with Freya Hammars' video for setting up creatures and the remastered patch is something they suggest right at the start, i already knew about it too but didnt realise what it did at first just that apparently i needed it XD. tbh im thinking of just re-installing creatures again to my 2nd hard drive like i had before because it worked perfectly fine the only reason i did a clean reinstall was because i kinda broke everything by trying to install gaia and also a few other things i had installed were breaking stuff. |

You might have better luck with the manual install version of C1toDS (marked Mac/Linux). |

ok, i will check that out :3 i didnt know there was a manual installer. also i had a idea last night im gonna try first which was use ccleaner to fix/remove broken registries (i had quite a lot of them) and then re-run the remaster patch |
