Error Code in Better Albia 1.5

I received the following error after uploading Albia 1.5 and installing several COBs:

"Creatures encountered an exception during an execution of a macro script, most probably not due to a syntax error. Offending portion of macro: tv var9 1, endi, next, doif var9 eq0, setv ov07 1, s"
Token: next. Owning obj: cloud (14) 2 14 1

I have no idea what any of that means; I assume I injected a COB that was incompatible with Albia 1.5, but I have no idea which one. Any help from folks who have a better understanding would be great; otherwise, I'll just inject the COBs more slowly with time in between to determine which one is causing the error.

Here's a list of COBs I injected, in the order that I injected them, after uploading Albia 1.5 from the Room Editor, all without having any Norns in the world:

Albian Updates
Anteater
Bees Update
Bridge: Gelsemium
Button Update
Deadly Cap Update
Death Script Update
Desert Update
Drinking Update (2 of them, same name)
Drop Update
Fishing Rod Update
Fungi Update
Game State Controller (activated all PowerUps except Grendels/Ettins)
Horn to Volcano Door
Lift Cabin Update
Nesting Bluebirds
Ocean Bridges v1.1
Pigeon Launcher
Potion Flask Update
PowerUp Update
PunchGun Update
Punching Bag Update
Purple Doozer Update
Queen Ant Update
Room#12 Update
Room#146 Update
Room #155 Update
Room #212 Update
Say Need No More
Shee Statue Update
Slap & Tickle Update
Tree House Barrier One, Two, & Three
Two Door Update
Underground Critter
Volcano Garden
BA - Cliff Edge Remover
BA - Horn to Volcano
BA - Ocean Bridges Fix
BA - Out of Bounds Fix
BA - Stop Wallbonking
BA - World Wrap Fix

Thanks in advance for anyone who might know the answer!

I'm just guessing here, but try making a world with all thise COBs, except the purple doozer update.

Now that you mention it, I did get an error message while I was testing better Albia, and forgot all about it, and i believe it happened when injecting the doozer update.

Also, you dont need the treehous barriers when using better albia.

Gotcha, this time I made sure to update Albian Updates first (after reviewing the thread for the Better Albia download), and avoided installing Purple Doozer and the Barrier updates.

So far, so good! I'm not sure which of the three changes did the trick, but happy it worked!

Thanks for the tip :)

The "Owning obj" is "cloud", so I think it might be possible that a cloud was accidentally moved out of bounds when starting BA.

I dunno though. Can't you just ignore it or something and continue playing?

The error kept popping up every few seconds, so it would have been a real pain to try and keep playing.

Edit: It seems to re-occur at times when I start a new world (keep having crashes when I attempt Wolfing/Feral runs, so I've been making new worlds fairly often), so I wonder if it's something to do with the general timing of when I'm injecting COBs and/or uploading Better Albia that somehow is messing with clouds.

Hi! I'd love to help. First off, please do not inject any third-party room updates when using BA, unless they came with BA - Extras or Fixes. Doing so may have unforseen consequences because it's quite likely they will cause so-called 'black holes' where resized rooms no longer match up with their neighbours' edges, causing null space in the world. Unlike C1, C2 is not a game that enjoys having null space between its rooms.

Tree House Barriers are also not necessary, as was pointed out already. BA addresses those barrier problems itself.

When using BA with supported bridge packs, the correct order of installation is BA, then the third-party bridge, then BA's associated Fix for that bridge. You can install your other updates either before or after this, but I would recommend after.

From that list, I can't immediately spot any that might affect the clouds. If you're not already, I'd also recommend injecting the Out Of Bounds fix from BA - Extras, as this will delete any object that has become lost outside the world's maximum coordinates (which might potentially include errant clouds).
