I've followed this line of Creatchi grendels for a few months now. In the begining, they got all sorts of colors but then I got a purple one and ever since, all offspring been purple no matter what they're paired with.
How does the inheritance of color work in creatchis? Is there any way I can get offspring with a diffrent color than purple if one parents are purple? |

As far as I know, higher generation colors such as purple are dominant over the four first-gen colors. Then there are other colors that tend to be more dominant than others (as an example, if you were to pair a purple grendelchi with an orange one the resulting baby would most likely be orange).
Past that, I think it's random which color gets inherited or if the baby winds up being black or white instead, unless the two creatchis involved have colors that will blend (e.g. a green and a blue creatchi will always have an aqua offspring).

Aah, I see!
Thank you very much, now I have a better idea of what to look for and expect when pairing creatchis up |

It might be a coincidence, but I've noticed that pairing a primary colored Creatchi (red, green, blue, yellow) with a secondary colored Creatchi (aqua, purple, brown, orange, lime) seems to result in the highest chance of "spontaneously" getting black and/or white offspring. |

That's a very interesting hypothesis! It will be hard to track but it sounds worth to keep an eye out for. |
