Has anyone ever gotten it to work? I get ddraw errors regardless of what I do. The guest is xp, the host is linux if it matters. And its the gog version of c2. I also tried the original version, which doesnt work either. I have searched for a solution but all I saw was people with the same errors... |

I had some luck running it using Windows 2000 at one point. Maybe you could try that? To be honest I wish GOG.com would get off their butts and release a proper remastered version that can run on Windows 8 and 10. Windows 8 has been out nearly five years now, there really is no excuse! |

I haven't tried virtualbox, but it works on VMWare Player.(XP Guest running in 16 bit color depth usingthe gog version (Windows 7 host though, but that shouldn't really matter)) |

Thanks C-Rex it works on 2k. There are some display problems around where the hand is and has been, this can be fixed temporarily by turning display acceleration down and then back to normal. |
