Can't Import Creatures or Find Exports | |

I recently installed Creatures Exodus on my Mac after many years of not playing. Upon having installed it, both my previous worlds from the last time I played showed up on DS, with norns I had previously downloaded years ago off the internet showing up as available to 'Import' into the game. The 'My Creatures' folder for DS (and C3) is empty though, and new norns I've recently downloaded and put into that folder do not show up as being available to import in the game. Also, when I export norns from the game, they don't show up on my computer. A search for the equivalent .creatures files turns up nothing. I've tried reinstalling the game and trying to play on a different user account on my computer to no avail. If someone could help me with this it would be much appreciated! |

Have you checked your Documents folder?

I have. I've pretty much checked my entire hard drive for these files. Docking Station is in my Applications folder, and I get to the folders in it by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Show Package Contents'. |

I've installed many agents and they all work fine. |

Are you using Vista by any chance? Some versions of Windows that have User Account Control will "hide" game files in obnoxious, hard-to-find places.

Check out this picture - you have to go to your Library's Preferences folder to start with.

Great! Glad I could help - I used the Kutoka Mac edition for many years until the return key broke on my Macintosh.
