Hi guys. Not sure how many care about this stuff anymore here, but here goes. It has come to my attention today that the reliable and generally excellent web host I've been using for most of my personal websites for the last decade has been absorbed into the gelatinous mass of GoDaddy. I'm not too keen on giving those guys money, so I will begin relocating my stuff to a new host in the near future (perhaps starting as early as this evening EST). This means that for the duration of the move the following sites will be down: - The Creature Repository - Eem Labs - My creatures file server (currently one of the only places to reliably download C12DS as far as I know, and some other stuff). I may take the opportunity to move some stuff around while I'm at it, which means that some URLs may change as a result. I'll update any links on the Creatures Wiki but other older links I don't control may not work anymore. I'll post any updates on this thread when I have them. Thanks ElasticMuffin,thats sure is good to hear about the sites! I myself still visiting TCR,have been submitting creature of my own in the past as well, so this is good to know what happens to the site and is a releif it is not going down! Thank you so much! Hope everything will work well for you! |

Update: The move to the new server broke a *lot* of stuff in TCR's oooold code. I'm gradually patching it up, and searching for creatures and downloading them works again. Doing some necromancy on my own thread (almost a year and a half, yeesh...) to let anyone who cares know that I've brought Eem Labs back online and I've officially retired TCR and turned it into an archive. The TCR code was just too old and messy to bother with at this point (I wrote it in PHP 4 back in ~2006, before I even went to college, so it's a huge mess, and it doesn't work on the PHP 7 on my new server). So, I've just put up all the submitted creatures as static downloads with a nice searchable table. If you're of an archivist bent you can also just download the full set on there. At this point Lacota has mostly sorted out my missing download archive on his own and added updated links for C12DS to the wiki, but I'm planning to still re-upload some of that stuff soon.
