Is there any way to stop this from happening, or modify the agent so they don't do this anymore? I really like these agents (the Inkras, Angolensis, and Okiron Butterflies) but I end up not being able to use them as much as I want because even if I carefully move/clone them into other metarooms, eventually (sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, but always within a couple of hours) they've all disappeared from the room I moved them to and they're right back in the Meso. This happens regardless of whether I provide them with plants/flowers to reproduce on and such.
Conclude with killer catchphrase.

OkironButterfly_MinPop and OkironButterfly_MaxPop are game variables that control how many Okiron butterflies will be in the world. You might want to set the minimum to zero to stop them from being spawned in the Meso, while setting the max to something sustainable. I assume the other butterflies also have similar settings and can be changed too.
To change the variables:
setv game "OkironButterfly_MinPop" (number)

Don't you have to RGAM to apply the changes when you are done?

If you decompiled the agent you could definitely change where they respawned, but it would still have to be in a specific metaroom (unless you did something complicated to keep track of where the last one had died and make them respawn in a certain radius around that coordinate). |
