I don't know when I'll have the time to create new breeds for Creatures--or if, once I do, there will be much interest. But someone asked for these, and I figured I might as well make them available to everyone.
So here are the original models and textures I used to create the Dustdevil Grendels. There are a few things about how I set up the files that are funky, but bear in mind I made these files when I was still working out how I could make the rendering process easier, not with the intention of releasing them to the entire community. Some instructions are included with the files which should clear things up, but it wouldn't hurt to start with a basic understanding of how Blender layers and animations work so that you know what does what.
Enjoy!

I've somehow managed to avoid working with 3D so far, but as a grendel fan I'm -extreamly- tempted to learn more about it now...
In either case, I appriciate that you want to share these files with us all! Thank you ^^ |

Thank you for sharing these!
I've always admired your work for Creatures and I must say that it has always tempted me to learn more about Blender 3D and to start making things on my own. The Dustdevil Grendel is arguably the best looking third party Grendel that is out there, and I think that these models will aid me well in learning more about Blender 3D. |

Thank you so much for uploading this, it seems like it would be really useful, however when I loaded the male grendel model into blender, the parts were only visible in layer 1, and so rendering the animation would only result in a lot of empty images. The same thing happened with the female model, except for the first few body angles. Everything after that only appeared in layer 1, along with all the other parts.
