Is there anyone out there who might be able to help me with creature sprites? I've made crossbreeding norns, ettins and grendels (enabled thanks to a bit of scripting that I downloaded, my brain forgets what it's called right now) but I'd like for them to have their own sprite set. I'd like to make them look like organically blended cross-breeds. So when they do cross-breed with other creatures it's more natural looking. So like not defined limbs, instead of having a furry body and a big scaly arm sticking straight out it might start with fur and taper into a big scaly arm.
Might have the Cross-breeders have similar colours so that when they crossbreed with each other it has the better blended effect.
Btw I uploaded up Ettin Crossbreeders on Creatures Caves. The genetics are pretty basic but it does what I wanted it to do lol.
Anyone able to help with imaging? Please feel free to comment any other ideas about the cross-breeding creatures. Thanks!

Not sure if I understand exactly what you mean, but the look of hybrids (and any other cross-breeds) is determined pretty strictly by the game engine. A creature's genes basically tell it "put arms A on body B", and the game plunks the correct body parts together.
It would be possible to make whole part sets that look transitional, eg. one set of arm sprites with both scales and fur. But the creatures' genes would still pick the body parts from one or the other parent... so if you crossed a Norn and Grendel, their baby would have either Norn or Grendel arm sprites, not the furry/scaly mix arm sprites. And I don't think we have any way to work around that.
