Breed Conversions runs out of memory?

Hi!

I have been trying to get some experience in converting C2 breeds into 3 and so far I have made it rather far. I got the breed in the game and fully working through the baby/child stages, however, once they hit teen (adolescent) the game errors saying the memory has run out and it will now be terminated in an unusual way.
I reinstalled the game and still got the error, I also did some other test and I can say for sure its the breed that is causing the error not the game itself.

So my problem is that I do not know why this error is happening, they were working fine at some point, but after I altered some body datas (their head and tail was incorrectly petitioned) and uninstalled the breed from the game (yes I got every file deleted) then updated the agent and started a new world and then the problem appeared. I can't remember which body part it was that I edited. But all I really did was copy paste from another converted breed that had the same height into the file and the numbers looked fine, nothing out of the ordinary.
Worth mentioning that I use "targ norn ages 2" when they hatch to get them to the teen age, tho the command has never given me any problems, not even with this breed. Also the sprites and body datas are inside the agent itself.

Also I am using the Unicorn norns from C2 as practising. I will NEVER upload them without permission from the originally creator. I am simply using them to practice on. I thought they were rather cute so I thought why not.

I was hoping that once I got the experience with conversion I would contact creators about converting their c2 breed to c3, but yeah.

So can anyone help with this issues or something? I got the files if you want me to sent them, just be warned, it will cause errors.

Have you tried allowing them to age naturally? It's a troubleshooting thing I'd do just to find out if it's the actual aging or if somehow it's the forced aging causing the problem with this particular breed. Could help figure out precisely what the problem is. Otherwise, I don't know much about this kind of thing, sorry to say. Good luck!

What was the breed you copied from? I think
I remember another converted breed having this error.

So you're just using the C2 body data that came with the breed? I think that might be the problem. A lot of converted C2 breeds cause errors. The body data looks the same, but since the engines are different there are probably subtle differences.

Not sure what you mean. I copy pasted the correct amount of pictures within a single sprite to match those of C3. I had a look at other converted breeds and basically copied what they had done, and those works fine.

He's referring not to the images but to the .ATT files, the body data.

I see. Those are copy pasted from a converted breed that has some height etc as the one I am working on, so it should work :/

Unfortunately, being the same height doesn't guarantee the .ATTs will work. Height really isn't the issue, it's about where specific body parts are meant to connect. I'm not familiar with Unicorn Norns, but they may well have slightly different .ATTs than normal. I have no idea if that's the source of the problem, but even if it's not, you may find that they look weird once you get past this issue.

I managed to get the baby/child stage to work with no issues and were the body datas were correctly placed. But once they hit adolescent, their tail and head are incorrect. Head is too low on their spine and the tails are to far into the bum instead of on it.
I was trying to fix them (copy paste from another breed) and after I did so, the memory error happened. Tho before that I had a strange line going from their bodies into a straight line that kept going past the game border and followed them around. The game only managed to run for about 10 second before it crashed to the desktop, no errors or anything, but I got that issues fixed. Not sure if its related.
