Soo I randomly had this idea of candy growing on plants and out came the idea for a metaroom for those with a sweet-tooth! Excuse the silly drawing though >_< its very rough. I'm planning to digitally paint it in a realistic style. The drawing ...hope its not too light.. The main part of the room is the garden which features a sparkly rainbow waterfall with lots of candy plants. There's the chocolate bushes, jelly-tot flowers and the candy cane and marshmallow tree. The candy will fall off/be able to be picked off and eaten, containing both protein and fat. The source of starch will come from the "popcorn vine" (yes, those blobs are popcorn). There will also be jelly bears that act as critters for those critter munching norns. Aaand then there's a platform for the second level with the bubble blower ^_^ The elevator system will kinda work the way the one in DS does - without a pully system and is a cute porcelain tea cup! I got lazy drawing the underground level but its meant to be the lab-kitchen area, with a weird mess of test tubes, growing organisms and cooking ingredients.. there could be random test tubes, flour boxes etc as toys perhaps? So your norns look like they're cooking up something too. However, I'll probably only get this going near the end of Dec when I get my new tablet. I'd like your opinions on this idea, like whether you'd use it or not or if I should change/add things. I also have no clue about coding so I'll need someone to help with that. Oh and how about a gummy/jelly norn breed? They'll be different colours and transparent-ish, just like jelly bears or jelly babies ^o^ Cute pixel art DeviantArt Account |

Ha, forgot to mention the mushrooms and gingerbread man. I'm thinking of big mushrooms that bounce like trampolines when pushed, which could be quite fun. the gingerbread man will also be a critter but only pops up every now and again and of course runs fast. Fortunately the norns have the hand (you) to catch him for them and will have lots of benefits when eaten. Also, to clarify, I will require coding for the whole room (waterfall,elevators..), as well as the agents (plants, toys, critters..) and for the jelly norns if someone is up to it. Hello there! To be honest, I was waiting for someone to create a metaroom just like this! Being a fan of sweets myself, I'd be all over downloading that. I really like the concepts of this so far! The teacup elevator sounds adorable. I wish I could help you out but I lack terribly in the CAOS department. I'd probably only be able to help out with artwork too. I just hope the guys dont think it sounds too girly haha, though Im not planning for it to have too much colour esp pink as Im not much of a fan. Hopefully someone will come along! Also I can definitely see bubbles working, there's already been an agent that can do that, the Cornucopia for C3/DS. It shoots out bubbles when you dispense food. So I got my tablet earlier than expected, woo! Here's a little preview for the chocolate bush I'll be making different kinds of chocolate for the bushes. I did the bush and chocolate separately as they'll each have their own coding I'm guessing. Would be great if a coder could verify this..I'm assuming all things are separate from the background i.e. sky, dome, grass and room below. Guess I'll maybe drop someone a few Q's. Anyway, I'm busy with the rainbow waterfall as well (still long way to go though!). It's my first time doing digital painting but its coming out better than I expected. Wow! That's looking great so far! I love the chocolate bush. And yeah, the bubbles that come from the cornucopia are meant to be categorized as toys, so the norns can push them around, and after a little while, they pop. Reminds me of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory,except the waterall is rainbow instead of chocolate. Interesting to see something a bit less naturalistic, the more fantastical stuff isn't very common in metarooms. |
