Hi everyone I just had an idea and wonder what you guys thought of it.
Introducing the "Eden Project"
This what I thought stick 1 norn from every person currently active in the CC
in a docking station world with certain metarooms and agents injected and then set the world running nonstop without any human interference for a long if not indefinite amount of time.
We could make it so that people could see live video of how the norns are doing streaming on a website but no actual changes by humans unless absolutely necessary.
I think that this could be a great way to promote creatures and in the end we might find a drastic change in the norns.
I'd be glad to hear your comments on this and if you could help me with it.
If we did go ahead with this it would be a lot of work.
But I think it could work if we could find a server to host the program and a streaming video for a small amount of money.
But if we could do this it could be a great experement.
Thanks and I can't wait to hear your feedback.

It wouldn't be -too- difficult if someone with a lot of outgoing bandwidth and a spare computer didn't mind streaming their screen to the world. And there's a few services like Ustream available for that sort of thing. Though I've never used any of them myself. And the biggest problem would probably be resolution.. streaming video has to be of a reasonable size or people won't actually be able to stream it, but that usually means low quality, meaning the camera would likely have to focus on a cropped area of the screen for anyone to be able to make out what was going on, and of course that limits the view...
I dunno, but you have me intrigued. Maybe some time when I'm less bogged down by classwork I'll do some research into it.

I couldn't host it myself as I only have dial up.
