Just curious, what is the Creatures Village game? I've gotten some reviews that says its for smaller kids, but I'm just trying to figure out what it is.

It's quite cute, really. I've never had the pleasure of playing it, but everything is colorful and fun-looking, and, on top of that, they can wear CLOTHES!
ps. I haven't played Monster Raannnrrrnnchhdoggy |

Lots of info here:
http://creatures.wikia.com/wiki/Creatures_Village
Creatures Village has absolutely nothing to do with Albia or any other Creatures game. It's directed mainly at a younger audience, so the gameplay is very much watered down and features lots of things that would appeal to them - fun activities, bright colourful graphics... Though I think it's still fun to play no matter what age you are.

Meh, I'm too old for it, but I play it anyways. It's really cute! If yeh like really easy creatures *that's right, it's actually easy* then get it! |

Checked out the link and it looks like it has really cute graphics! What elements of it are "Aimed at a younger audience"?

Norns don't die until old age. Only four norns are allowed. Cute objects and the like.
Creatures Adventures (the first part of Creatures Village) and Creatures Playground (the second) were both my first creatures games (CA being the first first). I loved it!
Then I saw on the box an ad for Creatures 3. A few years later, I convinced my parents to get me C3 and... here I am today.
I really recommend CV for first time creatures players. It's just a safer enviornment.
One more thing: Norns can only have two eggs in their entire lifetime. And the eggs do not hatch on their own. You have to put them in the CV version of the Incubator, i.e, a crib to the right of the nursery. If you read the C Wiki thing, you probubly know that by now.

Well, I usually incubate my norn eggs, anyways.

The norns can't mate until they are adults. There are no grendels or ettins. The norns have a more colorful and childish appearence to them. The pippin norns are cool though

I like the CP idea.
Sticking the norns on a rollercoaster...
I don't have either of them, though, and I prefer the idea of Creatures being a hard game to play. It lasts longer. |

Yeah I suppose... I was just wondering what it was.

I wish somebody converted the Okapi norns to C3-DS

Yeah. I guess they figure we have the civits.... but Okapi norns do have a different fur pattern.
Wait... there are norn breeds that are called "Okapi". Perhapes one of them...?
I don't really know those types of norn breeds well.

So... ultimate question. Is it worth purchasing?

I enjoyed Creatures Village. Its very different from the other Creatures titles but there is a vast world to explore and your Norns will be forever getting up to mischief.

Great! Two good opinions. Any bad ones? No? Even better.
