The dragon agent sound really cool! I don't do all that genetics stuff, so I can't really help, but I can offer lots of encouragement!

Looks good. The only thing that I have to say is that there are a bit to many scales.

*sighs*
It's just that I would really like to see the eyes. What I really ment to say is that the scales are a bit large.

Is the agent for C3 or C2? |
KC11
|

C2, although I might make a C3 conversion (it will have to be smaller though)

There's already dragons for C3, but they're not that impressive and breed too fast.
You end up with a slow world swamped with a rainbow variety of dragons mauling your hoppitys. |

heh. I remember those. I had to make a lot of hoppites for them, and they never died, so it was bad.

...I think that your dragons shouldn't breed. You could just create them whenever you would like them, and they would die after one or two hours. That way, Creatures doesn't become "Dragon Creatures." ...I always thought that Creatures bred norns...?

How about this:
Dragons can only have one hatchling. Having a hatchling also shortens their life. You know, like C3 female grendels when they lay an egg.
I'd say that a dragon that never breeds for its entire lifetime lives 2 hours, and a dragon that does breed lives to 1 1/2 hours.
Oh, and they can only breed at the age of one hour.

Sounds good.
I still think it would be a good idea to have the sprites grey.
And also, if you're looking for coders try the Gameware forums.
Tons of Creatures players go there. |

I would look there, but you have to pay for an account (right?).
Anyway, I thought of the dragons having a sort of smooth look, like the pokumon agents made for C3 or that hoppity eating dragon. They would have noticable scales, but the scales would be small. I think it would make it easier for the game to color it.
Also, the dragons can die of other causes besides old age, especially when they are young (I am thinking of making them like C3 draconian norns, where they are sensitive to desiese when young but build up an immune system when they age). They can die of wounds, underfeeding (I am thinking of creating a dragon food cob and a dragon medical cob) drowning, and even being eaten by older, larger dragons.
