Recently picked up Creatures again, and remembered a project that was bringing a C2 metaroom to DS. I played around with the third beta, a few years ago, and was hoping it would be done by now  What is the state of C2toDS? Are there C2 style Norns for it? Does it properly use room links, so the Norns can know what they are doing (unlike the C1toDS meta room)? I'd love to have this, with C2 Norns that have the newest genome from Aarnout <3 |

I use it and I thought it was functionally complete... I'll have to double check later but I remember the CA links being set up properly. There are unrelated ports of the C2 breeds, try Mummy's downloads. |

As I recall it, Moe's C2toDS project never intended to re-port the C2 breeds. The metaroom has CA links and emitters. You can DIY versions of the C2 breeds with Arnout's genome by using any good breed list and this genetics kit tutorial. My TCR Norns |

Thanks for all the answers! <3 I remember the last time I played with it, in the third beta, the cactus seed were not edible, which confused the Norns. Anyone know if that was fixed? This is actually the case in C3 as well, it seems. The seeds for the cacti, in the desert area, can't be eaten, so the Norns sometimes starve there, while hungry for seeds. |
