I saw a blog post a while back where someone had reverse engineered the C1 export file to extract the genome, examine/modify chemical levels, etc.
Has anyone figured out how to do that with C3/DS export files?
I'm interested in learning how to do this, to give me the chance to do "offline surgery" on fatally sick Norns with a hex editor. Is this possible in C3/DS?

The PRAY format might help you out. I am not exactly an expert, but from I understand, it should be possible to make a "general purpose" decompiler that just blindly disassembles everything.
Usually Monk is pretty good at this kind of stuff, however I just tried to toss a random export file into it and got nothing back.

Woah! I honestly wasn't expecting the documentation to be this detailed (especially the GLST block – the convenience and simplicity of that documentation is very encouraging) may be easier than I thought... (Argh, why didn't I look there first?!)
The CREA block will probably require...extensive experimentation. I'll be real proud if I can get it working, though.
Will definitely write a guide if I figure it out!

I believe REVELATION is capable of de-PRAYing a creature, but you can't quite change much. |
