General Forum Teleporter Crazy C3/DS Wolfling Run   1 | 2 Air Guitarist kezune        11/21/2013 I'm back! Again! For the millionth time! And what better way to celebrate than with an outrageous forum wolfling run? I'll be keeping a detailed record of events on my blog and summaries in this thread once the run starts. How many entries? The contest will start once all 16 slots are taken. What breeds? Each contestant will be allowed to choose 1 creature from any of the original and mall breeds listed at the bottom of the post, Norns only. No third party breeds this time, sorry. Where are we playing? I've built the world already and it is full of offline portals and random teleporters to keep creatures from spending too much room in any one place. I've added Norngarden 1 and The Lost Cave to a docked C3/DS world. To make things more interesting, each egg will be planted in a different room based on a random number. To make things a little more dangerous, I've scattered Grendels and Macrobacteria. Scoring I'll be borrowing Jessica's scored wolfling run idea for this game. The highest score wins! +10 for each complete hour survived +5 for each egg laid +5 for each egg fathered +1 for each complete 10 minute period survived into the last hour Example Bosco the Bengal lives to be 5 hours, 27 minutes old. He is survived by no eggs. 27 minutes is two 10 minute periods with a remainder of 7. 5 hours X 10 points = 50 (2) 10 minute periods X 1 points = 2 52 points. The norns have all started exploring but seem to favor the Norn Terrarium and Norn Meso. Two grendels are introduced after giving the norns a 20 minute head start. Two norns suffer from EE and another is scared to death by the volcano. There is much slapping and tickling but the norns are all too young for offspring. Every metaroom is explored including the Learning Room which was not previously bookmarked. Three norns have died and now thirteen remain! Maybe she's just employing some avoidance tactics in order to survive longer... Or she's studying medicine with the HoverDoc so that she can heal herself after a Grendel beats her up. The norns are still convening in the Norn Terrarium and Norn Meso. The Grendels have claimed many more lives this time. All 5 deaths this round were caused by Grendel attacks. We had two pregnancies. Both were fathered by Major Tom. Selena and Patches were our mothers this round, netting Selena and Patches 5 more points each and Major Tom 10 more. I've read that she kept up her avoidance tactics by continuing to play by herself, but I can't see her name amongst the surviving contestants.
