I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. Sadly that isn't going to change much. My sister has been sick most of this year and she still is. So I really haven't been in the mood to be online much. Not only that, I live in an area that was hit by Hurricane Micheal and I'm likely not going to have stable internet for who knows how long. We lost the family dog of 16 years. My parent's house is fine, just damage to the sheds and fences. The neighbors weren't as lucky but, as far as I know, everyone around me made it out alive. Most of their houses are still standing as well. Anyway like I said, I'm going to be gone for an unknown amount of time. Though one strange upside to all of this is I found the free time to work on CCSF submissions. So I have a number of them submitted. Working on them was quite therapeutic, if I'm being honest. I have once again returned from a long absence. Unfortunately, I lost my Creatures 2 and 3 CDs in a horrible basement flood. I may eventually pick them up digitally, but for now I'm gonna be using DS standalone. -GrayDragonEmily |

I am returning to Creatures after an absence of I think 4 years or so. I was once active in the community and it definitely left a void in my life when I quit. When my last computer was wiped out I stopped, but now I am going to download everything again from gog. I'm planning to get all 4 of the games that are available. I also want to download all of my breeds and metarooms again. I know it will be difficult, but I'm going to start on it. I've been playing gacha rpg games a lot, and I need something to kinda take a break from that. I love the fact that Creatures is more of a science experiment than a game, and that I can just experiment with it any way that I want. I hope it gets active again and we can see another game and a comeback for the series. I think marketing has been the problem, since whenever I tell people about Creatures or show it to them they get instantly captivated. I know this series could captivate another generation of gamers! |

I have returned yet again, I was on here briefly in 2018/17 and I used to be very active in the community several years before that. I'm surprised to still see so many familiar names!! I installed Creatures Exodus today and I've spent hours downloading sooo many things I remember having back in the day and it's just so nostalgic and amazing. |

Hey guys, I've been gone for so, so, SO long! But I never forgot Creatures Caves or the Creatures games. And now I'm back. I got my precious vintage Creatures, C2 and C3 CDs out of storage and I checked for new downloads and I'm sad I was away so long. I got a new laptop when my old one died. And it didn't come with a CD/DVD slot or tray. But then I found out about external ones last month and I bought it and now I'm rearing to play Creatures again! I lost my C1 family legacy when the external hard drive I was playing it from died. It broke somehow and something was rattling around inside. So I lost all my Norns and progress. I was breeding Dark Norns on C1 or something, I think. It was wonderful. Hehe. I can't wait to get back into the games and the community. I'm hella sad that I was gone so long and that I missed so much. And all you guys, my amazing, creative, wonderful friends. I see usernames I miss and recognise and I hope they're still hanging around or plan to come back, like I have. Much love! Wow, I’m finally able to login again, and HOLY NOSTALGIA OVERLOAD! <3 I’ve been playing Creatures on and off since 1999. And here we all are, decades later. Thanks for letting me grow up in this community. And thanks for putting up with all my cringeworthy “learning experiences!” I haven’t played for quite a while, but maybe I’ll get back into it soon.
