Hello everyone ! It's been ages since I've posted anything on creatures caves, I am so sorry for that, to be honest I had a few classes to attend to and was pretty busy. Anyway, I've installed Virtualbox with a legal version of Windows XP yesterday and tried to install The Albian Years. Creatures 1 works perfectly, Creatures 2 is still not working. I feel like I'm doomed... It says something like [DDERR_GENERIC_] - error while loading the sprites. Please make sure Direct X is installed and your computer is set to 16bits mode. So I've reinstalled Direct X, still not working. I've read on here that the CD version was not reliable, however I can't buy the game on GoG, any idea? Thanks! Ooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeoooooooooo |

I fixed mine using a rather mutated version of Deji's solution. Had to experiment for a while. |

Just tried it, it's almost working... The game tries to load and crashes. :-/ UPDATE: Thanks to Jessica, I've installed the GOG version both on my virtual machine AND on my Windows 8 laptop. Turns out it's still crashing on the virtual machine (but it's a completely different bug caused by ddraw.dll)... and it almost works on Windows 8 (not kidding). I'll try to fix it for the few hours I have left here at home (I'm spending Christmas with my parents and leaving my laptop behind for a few days).
