So, I really like Chione, but I feel like it needs to be more vegetative in the underground caves. I figured I'd just open up the background file and start copying and pasting. Problem is, the C3/DS map editor keeps saying that the "default game" registry file isn't set. I follow the path it's looking for it in, HKEY local user blah blah blah, and there's no registry file there. I checked with regedit. It says "running the game will set this", so it sounded like an easy fix. I did, still got the same error from the map editor. Any ideas? I've also tried installing the game in a more "classic" location, since my install is in my documents, but still no luck. I'd really love to open up this dang background file! |

Okay, I just figured it out, but I figured I'd leave this up here for anyone who has the same problem. The program is looking for "CyberLife Technology", but the games path is "Gameware Development". You can make a new folder called "CyberLife Technology", and a new folder under that "Creatures Engine", and then make a file that says "Default Game" and data as "Docking Station". |
