slot | Norn-S | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | BioNorn and Wafuru | website | [view] | The Shag-a-Delic Norns are a breed created by BioNorn and Wafuru, which features Bengal Norn sprites modified to have their colors inverted, as well as a new genome. These norns change their colors throughout their lifestages, are amphibious, and have a high propensity to breed.
This breed can only be download from Wafuru's site, because she has requested that the breed not be posted elsewhere. You can find a link to her site in this page. |

slot | Norn-G | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Wafuru | updated | 4/17/2013 | website | [view] | The Gecko Norns are a lizard-like breed created by Wafuru. They only have sprites for one life stage (adult).
Because the breed's .gen file name begins with the letter "g", the Grendel Mother may sometimes hatch Gecko Norns instead of Grendels if you have this breed installed. You can fix this issue by downloading Don's Gecko Norn Eggs update.

This breed uses the same slot as the Siamese Norns.
An article about the Lilac Bengals was featured in issue 5 of the official Creatures newsletter "Much Ado About Norns".

type | Genetics Only | author | Trix | updated | 11/4/2013 | website | [view] | The Logic Grendels are a group of fourteen genetic breeds, each named after a particular phrase in logic reasoning (the pictured breed, for example, is a Bianci Grendel). They have a wide variety of appearances and behaviors. The egg agent will create one of the fourteen at random. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Trix | website | [view] | Voodoo Grendels are a very robust breed. They have many ways to cure themselves of illnesses, can eat anything, and can play with pests and weeds without suffering for it. They're also fairly placid for grendels and will likely get along well with other species of creature.
They use the sprites of the Micro Grendels (Grendel E) and ChiChi Norns (Norn D). |

type | Genetics Only | author | Trix | website | [view] | The Zion Grendels were originally intended to be a complete breed, but unfortunately Trix was unable to finish them and thus made this genetic breed. Zion Grendels are much more placid than standard grendels and are generally easy to care for.
They use the sprites of the Vampyre Grendels (Grendel F). |

type | Genetics Only | author | Grendel Man | website | [view] | The Amphibious Banshee Grendels, as their name suggests, are amphibious. They have extra pigment and pigment bleed genes, allowing color-edited individuals to keep their colors for their entire lifespan. Their color genes and gaits cannot mutate. They're a grendelish counterpart to Mairenn's Amphibian ChiChi Norns.
They use the sprites of the Banshee Grendels (Grendel B). |

slot | Grendel-H | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Lacota, Skywalker | updated | 11/4/2013 | The C1 grendel, converted to Creatures 3 and Docking Station and available separately from the C12DS metaroom. Unlike the grendels included alongside C12DS, these ones have a ChiChi genome. |

type | Genetics Only | author | C-Rex | updated | 8/4/2018 | website | [view] | A highly social breed, the Albian Ant Norns enjoy living in large groups. They normally only live for around an hour but have unusual breeding habits; the lifespan of males decreases whenever they mate, but in females it increases. Female Ant Norns who have mated and laid the most eggs are referred to as "queens" and will usually outlive the expected life expectancy.
Albian Ant Norns also have a strong immune system and can digest most plant poisons.
Thanks to kezune for testing them! |

type | Genetics Only | author | JayD | updated | 4/8/2013 | website | [view] | The Colored Norns were presumably one of the first breeds to have colors that didn't change at all during their lifespan. They can be considered a precursor to the Chromatic Norns.
They come in three varieties: Bruin Norn (Norn A), Bengal Norn (Norn B), and Civet Norn (Norn C). |

type | Genetics Only | author | JayD | updated | 8/18/2018 | website | [view] | Chromatic Norns are all about color. They change colors every lifestage, won't lose their colors no matter where they are in their lifespan, and won't gain color-destroying mutations as the generations continue on.
They come in three varieties: Bruin Norn (Norn A), Bengal Norn (Norn B), and Civet Norn (Norn C). |

type | Genetics Only | author | Grendel_Slayer | updated | 4/8/2013 | Mortem Grendels are very angry grendels, to the point where they can actually synthesize some nutrients from their anger (as can be expected from grendels who are named after the Latin word for "death). They flinch constantly even if they aren't in pain.
They use the sprites of the C3 Grendels (Grendel A) and Bruin Norns (Norn A). |

type | Genetics Only | author | Mairenn | website | [view] | Spaceship Greys are a genetic breed C3/DS equivalent to the C1/C2 Albian Grays. They're amphibious and have extra pigment/pigment bleed genes (ensuring that they keep their colors for their entire life), but are otherwise identical to the standard C3/DS norns.
They come in seven different varieties - Bruin Norns (Norn A), Bengal Norns (Norn B), Civet Norns (Norn C), Magma Norns (Norn E), Zebra Norns (Norn I), Fallow Norns (Norn K), and Siamese Norns (Norn L). |
