Released for the 2015 CCSF, these creatures have the standard evo genome but with the colortrue edits applied. These creatures have different colors. I included the colors of the rainbow along with black, white, grey, and 128-across-the-board unpigmented.

Inside the zip, you'll find several creatures files: one male and one female for each variety. You'll also find several genetics files you can use to hatch more. Alternatively, they are all compatible with Ylukyun's baby machine gun, so you could use that for a quick and easy color explosion in your world

These are the Colortrue Banshee Grendels AKA Colortrue Grendels Festive Edition. They were released during the Creatures Community Advent Calendar 2012. They use the Banshee Grendel sprites and come in six colors (red, dark gold, dark green, white, blue and light azure).

A random act of splicing turned into probably some of the brightest Norns you'll see swimming around your world. They're based on the Evo Norn genome, with a few tweaks to make them able to breathe underwater from adolescence (or from birth in the case of the Florafish norns), able to swim with the Swimming Agent from about the same age, and have stronger tendancies to play with/eat critters.
They're also kind of colortrue, although given the gender tinting differences in the Butterflyfish, you might just end up with a lot of purple-ish Norns.

They need the Butterfly Norn, Flora Norn, and Pearl Mermaid Norn sprites.

By request, here are the agent files I used to create the original A-name/Gen1 Grendeltails, the ancestors of all the later ones. Note that although color options are included, they vary in more than just color. Also note that they are not remotely colortrue. :p More information is included in a text file in the .zip.

Somewhere in-between Albia and a colorful village, these Norns were found. They are essentially a recreation of the variant-based Creatures Village genome (spare a few quirks), built on the CFF genome. They are also (sort of) colortrue, so breed/splice away!
Just a few issues, though: unlike most CFF norns, they don't have any sense of fullness and don't get any particular drawbacks for it; certain Norns may become quite slap happy; and because of their CV roots, they're practically immortal! The only way you can kill them off is by injecting them with a fatal toxin once they become Ancient... or you can just throw them out the airlock.
They use the Zebra and Fallow Norn sprites.

These are the Colortrue version of the Modified CFE Toxic Norns. They all use the Toxic Norn sprites.

There are eleven varieties. Pictures of those varieties are included in the file. Also included in the file are two babies (one male, one female) for each genome. They're all gen 1. I also included the genomes, in case you'd like to hatch some of your own or make more color varieties.

Kezune says: "These CFE Colortrue edits also include evolnemesis's hunger overwhelmsion and drowning edits. Check out his CFF breed for more information.

To keep these guys happy and healthy, they need to eat bugs and critters. They can still live off of basic foods like carrots and cheese but they gain less benefit. This variety can eat stingers with relatively little discomfort and have genes in place that make them better prepared to deal with Heavy Metals, including gaining extra fat from eating critters. To keep them happy, make sure they have lots more to eat than just stingers and give them lots of fatty food.

Like all Ettins, they prefer gadgets over toys but, unlike other Ettins, they can still see gadgets around Ettin Home Smell, so feel free to let them hoard their toys around the Ettin home - they'll still be able to use them."

Be sure to install a stinger fix included in the download! The original Chameleon breed was created by Norngirl and Razgriz. The Colortrue Chameleons were created by Kezune for CCSF 2014.

Beware feeding this variety pests, however, as this variety doesn't handle Heavy Metals well. They lack instincts to eat pests, however, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty. :)

These colorful Ettins require the Chameleon Ettins sprites to look right. The original Chameleon breed was created by Norngirl and Razgriz. The Colortrue Chameleons were created by Kezune for CCSF 2014.

The Colortrue Gaius combine the excellent genetics and sprites of the Gaius with the Colortrue idea! Offspring will be a combination of his/her parents' colors, thereby opening up the possibility of many different colors. This pack includes the following color varieties:

- Aged Copper
- Antique Copper
- Black Nickel
- Copper
- Gold
- Nickel
- Platinum
- Silver

Special thanks to Ghosthande for creating the original Gaius, and to Ylukyun for coming up with the Colortrue idea!

Years ago, I saw a drawing someone made of a Zora Norn breed concept! Sadly, the author's site and sketch vanished; and the breed never came to be... So I made my own!! :D

Now includes egg agent!

Breed Information:
- This breed takes up Geat slot Z.
- The Zoran Norns are Colortrue Norns.
- The Zoran Norns are an amphibious breed from birth, but the babies look better in the water.
- This breed visually undergoes "full body metamorphosis" to reach adulthood.
- The Zoran Norn breed has its own egg sprite.

NOTE: They also have the swim bladder organ from the Astro Tetras. Credit goes to KittyTikara.

Many, many thanks to ylukyun who did the genetic stuff and is still helping with possible CCSF-related release(s)!

This breed requires the Pearl Mermaid Norns in order to work. Make sure that these sprites and body data files are properly installed before hatching any of these Norns.

The Colortrue Pearl Mermaid Norns combine the colortrue idea from Ylukyun with the Pearl Mermaid Norns that were created by Spykkie. There are additional refinements, as well, which make these Norns better equipped to live in smaller aquatic metarooms. They are able to live on land or in water, and also have CFE-based genetics. This initial release includes the following colors that can be injected via egg agents:

- Standard (No pigment changes)
- Blue
- Green
- Orange
- Pink
- Purple
- Yellow

These Norns will mix their colors together when they breed, so that their offspring will typically be completely unique! If a population seems to be trending towards a single color, adding a few Norns of different colors can help create more diversity!

Please read the Readme file for complete information and credits. Special thanks go to Grendel Man for testing and providing information about the genomes.

These Grendels are inspired by the Spice Norns and based on CFE no mutate Chichi Norns. They have pigment genes moved around, making their colors mix instead of being inherited. They have a slight aversion to Ettins, but do not have a neurotransmitter to make them afraid of or angry at other species.

The pigment genes do not mutate, as this causes issues with loss of color over time, but you should be able to get a wide variety of colors without mutation.
