Methods of redistribution fall into two categories. Filesharing is here defined as the act of sharing a work (such as an agent, breed or metaroom) with specific people, usually via email. Rehosting is the act of uploading a work to make it publically available on another web site. Assuming that an author is open to having their work shared or rehosted, it is considered basic etiquette to ensure that any documentation (such as readme files) that were provided with the work remain packaged with it if at all possible. I seem to remember Helen posting on the Gameware forums and allowing people to rehost her stuff - and the last known mirror of her site states "If you play creatures and you'd like to use any of the downloads or information on a webpage of your own, feel free. It'd be nice if you credit me for the stuff I've written and made, but if you don't I won't lose any sleep over it. An "unverified policy" thing sounds like a good idea to me. We could add "unverified" to one of the columns, and change it to verified once we contact the creator. It helps avoid any confusion about whether or not it's the creator's current policy, and probably some other things I can't think of at the moment. Don might be a good person to start the creator hunt with. Well, no, but I still think input from the members is valuable, particularly because this resource was written for everyone to act as a guide.
